Tex & The Troubadours
Teddy Boy Rock ‘N’ Roll
Tex & the Troubadours are an authentic Teddy Boy Rock ’N’ Roll band, yet they have their own inimitable style, coupled with an infectious beat for dancing feet. Hooting, howling vocals, raucous guitar and a proper rockin’ rhythm section. We defy anyone to listen to this band or see them live and not tap your feet. Click the image for more information.

Rikki Sylvan
80s indie/synth pop legend
As the creative lead in his band Rikki and the Last Days Of Earth, the late Rikki Sylvan led the charge from punk to synth-pop Dave Thompson writing on AllMUSIC had some interesting things to say on both Rikki as a solo artist and producer and the band, for instance “Rikki and the Last Days of Earth exploded out of Britain’s punk underground in mid-1977, one of the most audaciously forward-looking bands of the entire era, and one whose output screams louder for re-evaluation with every passing year”. As a producer, Sylvan was responsible for mixing the Gary Numan/Tubeway Army albums Replicas and The Pleasure Principle.

Drostan MacRaith
Lyreist, singer and songwriter
Drostan MacRaith is what would be called in Scotland a bàrd-baile or local poet and he plays on an ancient instrument the Lyre, beautiful yet long out of fashion. The design of the one he uses is at least 1200 years old, yet MacRaith brings both ancient words and music to life in his own style.
